Convalescence - the Hollywood way...

I've watched a lot of movies over the past couple of days (tried to read, but I'm still disorientated, so it's pretty pointless). I've taken comfort in old Hollywood epics. I've wanted to watch 'Grand Hotel' for a long time- and it fulfilled the 'epic' i was after. Sunset Boulevard was also amazingly dramatic.
I'd also recommend 12 Angry Men for something a little different.
